Steven Poliseo, CPA is a partner at Schulman Lobel Zand Katzen Williams & Blackman, LLP. He has over 15 years of diverse accounting, tax, and business experience concentrating in providing tax, accounting, auditing and related consulting services to privately-held businesses, their stakeholders, and high net worth individuals. Steven’s approach goes beyond that of customary accounting and tax functions by providing creative solutions to complex business and personal financial and tax issues. With a background that extends across many industries, including years as CFO/COO of a regional distribution company, Steven’s broad range of experience serves as an invaluable resource to the firm’s clients. Steven also works with many multi-generational family owned businesses, assisting them in effective financial and tax planning for new ventures, continuing operations and next generation succession planning.
Prior to joining Schulman Lobel, Steven was a Partner in Topche & Company, LLC.
Steven has a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the College of New Jersey and is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey.
Steven is a member of the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Steven also serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Center for Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Scotch Plains, NJ and Elizabeth, NJ, is a Board Member and Vice President of Finance for the Scotch Plains Fanwood Soccer Association, and is a Member of the Advisory Council for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey.
