Marc D. Zand is currently a partner in the New York office of Schulman Lobel Zand Katzen Williams & Blackman LLP. Marc specializes in a broad range of tax, business management, consulting and financial services to high net worth individuals, closely held businesses, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts and tax exempt organizations. In addition, he has been involved in the litigation support practice and has handled several matters including one involving a law firm. He was appointed by the New York State Board of Regents and served two consecutive five year terms as a board member for the New York State Board of Public Accountancy. His responsibilities included serving on panels to adjudicate charges brought against Certified Public Accountants practicing in the State of New York, reviewing proposed legislation and making recommendations that pertain to the practice of public accountancy in the State of New York with other board members. Presently, Marc has been appointed to serve on the extended board which is responsible to consult with investigators at the Office of Professional Discipline.
